Middlesbrough have been the unfashionable relations of the North East, despite competing fairly admirably at Premiership level for much of the nineties and noughties.
Their relegation to The Championship in 2009 could hurt the club and lead to a longer spell in the abyss.
As far as CCFC are concerned, Boro and their supporters are nowhere near as irritating as Newcastle or Sunderland, but we still always lose in the North East and have never tasted victory at The Riverside.
